Where should I stay?

We have booked all 30 rooms at Valverde Palácio de Seteais on the 18th and 19th of August, and would love as many loved ones as possible to stay with us! If you're looking elsewhere we recommend that you stay in Sintra so it's easy for you to get to and from the venue. Please see the Travel & Accommodation page for more information and options.

What's the closest airport?

There is no airport in Sintra, but Lisbon airport is only a 30-40 minute drive away depending on traffic. Sintra is also accessible via train from Lisboa Rossio station which takes 40 minutes.

What should I wear?

We kindly request black-tie attire for our celebration. Tuxedos or dinner jackets are encouraged for gentlemen, while ladies are invited to wear floor-length gowns or elegant formal evening wear. We can't wait to celebrate with you in style.

The weather in Sintra in August is typically sunny with temperatures ranging from 24-28°C during the day and 17–20 °C in the evenings.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a 4 course menu consisting of a starter, fish course, meat course, and dessert.
